Carl Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Smith of Simsbury, Connecticut, born in Hamden, Connecticut, who passed away on May 22, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Carl may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carl touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Smith and Evelyn Smith. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his brother Michael Smith; his sister-in-law Andrea; and his nieces, Emily (Newington) and Carrie of New Orleans, LA.
