With sadness, we share the passing of Cornelia E. Haberlin of Simsbury, Connecticut. Cornelia, born on July 9, 1938, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Cornelia for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Cornelia’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Eaton and Doris P. Eaton; her husband Chester E. Haberlin, Jr.; and her sister Elizabeth E. Gesler. She is survived by: her sons, George W. Haberlin and John E. Haberlin (Karen); and her grandson William T. Haberlin. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hopmeadow Country Club (85 Firetown Rd, Simsbury, CT 06070).
