She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Garrett Williams and Edward S. Wood Jr.; her husband Richard Gardiner; and her sister Eleanor Flavell. She is survived by: her children, Lee G. Barba (Chris) of West Granby and William W. Gardiner (Jo) of Bainbridge Island, WA.; her grandchildren, Cody Barba (Camille Hanson) of Lebanon, NH, Madison Raczka (Ted) of Middletown and Alex Gardiner of Bainbridge Island, WA.; her great grandchildren, Amelia Eloise Raczka and Teddy Gardiner Raczka; and her brother-in-law Ray Gardiner (Donna).
