He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Wright Cates and Terry Wright Antoine; his grandchildren, John Manning, III, Octavia Manning and Justin Antoine; his great grandchildren, John Manning, IV, Irianna Wallace and Alaya Wallace; and his close friend Jeff Stewart. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.
