She is survived by: her parents, Denise Reed (Brinkerhoff) and Thomas E. Reed; her children, Caileb and Kaia Szpakowski; her brother Nicholas (Meghan); and her aunts and uncles, James, Ann Reed, Allison Brinkerhoff, Jen Tobias and Elodie Belliveau.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home ~ Simsbury (880 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, CT 06070). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Simsbury Cemetery (16 Plank Hill Rd, Simsbury, CT 06070).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Hilary's name to Friends of Acadia, 45 Cottage Street, P.O. Box 45, Bar Harbor, Maine 04609.
