He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Cunningham (West); his parents, Joseph W. Cunningham and Mary Cunningham (Warner); and his siblings, Joseph, Jr., Richard, George Cunningham, Patricia Norko and Margaret Cunningham.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ann (John Ritson) and Meg (Jeff Naness); and his grandchildren, Abigail, Laura, Matthew Ritson, Jonathan and Michael Naness.
