He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles E. McGough and Ruth V. McGough (Kiley). He is survived by : his wife Edith; his children, Christine Grulke (David Grulke) of Tolland, CT, Sandra A. Coppola (Andrew Coppola) of Wolcott, CT and Glen D. McGough (Tracy Whittingslow) of Burlington, CT.; and his siblings, Thelma M. McGough of Aspinwall, PA and Robert R. McGough of Gatesville, TX.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, one great grandson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
