He is survived by: his wife Miriam; his daughters, Lisa Dower (John) of New York, NY and Jennifer Gardner (Joseph Mandravelis) of East Granby; his grandchildren, Grace, Mia, Megan and John Joseph; his sister Barbara Conklin (Alfred) of Peterborough, NH; and his brother-in-law Fernando Lopez (Karen).

A perennial All-Star, he was inducted into the TSL Hall of Fame in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the game.
