He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Jerome and Gertrude Marie McGurkin (Davin); his stepfather John T Ferrera; and his siblings, Jerry McGurkin, Mary Ellen Bossi, Eddie McGurkin, Mark McGurkin and Anne Grimaldi.
He is survived by: his sisters, Rose McGurkin-Fuhr and Kathleen McGurkin; his brother-in-law John Conway of Simsbury, CT; and his brother Joe McGurkin of Moscow Idaho. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
