She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Markel and Elizabeth Markel (Ryherd). She is survived by : her husband Kenneth M. Corey; her children, Heather White (Scott) of Granby and Timothy K. Corey (Jessica) of Ashburn, VA; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn White and Meadow Corey; her stepgrandchildren, Jessica and Ashley White; her siblings, Charles Markel, John Markel (Patty), Tom Markel (Jeanne), Robert Markel, Mary White (Charles) and Carol Quintal (Roger); and her cousin Suzanne Cecil (Mel). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
