We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2023, at the age of 84, Maria Augusta Mella (Simsbury, Connecticut), born in Torrington, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harwood Almas and Martha Almas; and her sister Marjorie Raspiller. She is survived by : her husband Kevin Baldwin; her children, Cheryl Spielman (Rose Dowd), Chuck Spielman (Audrey), Ben Spielman (Ann Marie) and Peter Mella; her grandchildren, Andrew, Julia, Amanda, Meagan, Abby, Anthony and Kody; her sister Sandra Neri; and also Madeline. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
