With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marilyn Packard of Simsbury, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marilyn left this world on May 28, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Packard and Gladys Packard (Smith). She is survived by: her children, John Moretta of Westerly, RI, Steven Moretta (Christine) of Simsbury and Suzanne Essex (Steven) of West Simsbury; her grandchildren, John Moretta Jr., Matthew Moretta (Libby), Steven, Emily, Abigail, Sophie Moretta, Gabrielle and Allison Essex; her great grandchildren, Bella and Wilhelm Moretta; and her sister Nancy Crane Packard.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (942 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, CT 06070).
