Mona A. Martinik Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mona A. Martinik of Simsbury, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Martinik; her parents, Gemma Lapointe and John Bell; her sister Barbara (Richard); and her children, Maurice, Richard, Jr. and Terry Lee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Martinik of Newington, CT and Andrea Devlin (Joe) of Deep River, CT; her grandchildren, Forrest, Norris, Preston, Brandon, Jessica, Amanda and Dana Marie; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Jax, Emma and Joey; her sisters, Carol Michaud (Maurice) of St. Leonard, N. B. and Phyllis Doucette (late Jim); and her extended family Cape Cod. She is also survived by loving uncles and aunts and many caring nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home - Simsbury (880 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, CT 06070). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (942 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, CT 06070).
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Simsbury Library in Memory of Mona & Richard Martinik or to the Simsbury Senior Center in Memory of Mona Martinik.
