It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul E. Petersen of Simsbury, Connecticut, who passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew C. Petersen and Karen J. Petersen (Kristensen); and his siblings, Raymond E. Petersen and Anna Claire Murtaugh. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Petersen (Allen); his children, Allen C. Petersen (Janice) of East Granby and Nancy P. Cain (George) of Saratoga Springs, NY; his grandchildren, Alexander Cain, Erik Petersen (Olivia) and Abigail Ross (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Lucy Petersen, Bennett Petersen, Stella Ross and Alexander Ross.

Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of West Hartford, 90 North Main Street, West Hartford, CT 06107.
