We bid farewell to Richard Rogers of Simsbury, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 22, 2025 at the age of 84. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rogers and Florence Rogers (Cleary); and his brother James. He is survived by: his children, Richard Rogers (Tammi) of Charlotte, NC, Timothy Rogers (Janet) of Weston, CT and Karen Griffin (Tom) of East Granby, CT; his grandchildren, Erin, Kathleen, Meghan, Ben (Molly), Emily, Drew, Jillian, Rachel, Emma and Sean; the mother of his children Rosemary Rogers; his sister-in-law Sheila Rogers (Bree); and his sibling's children, Susan, James, Deborah, Sheila, Michael, Kathleen and Timothy. He is also survived by his family and took great pride in his children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Northwest Connecticut YMCA, United Way, the American Cancer Society, or the Alzheimer's Association.
