He is survived by: his wife Nancy Elizabeth Hartman; his children, David Rodney (Marguerite Carnell), Elizabeth Herz (Richard), Stephen Rodney (Owen) and Susan Rodney; his grandchildren, Allison Herz, Daniel Herz, Catherine Rodney, Jacob Herz and Meredith Rodney; his sister Judith Hogan; and his brother-in-law James Hogan.

Contributions in Rob's memory may be made to Granby Congregational Church, UCC and to McLean Hospice.
