It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Gorecki (Simsbury, Connecticut), who passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatius "Joe" Gorecki and Gladys Gorecki (Richards); his son Tom; his sisters, Barbara and Charlene; and his brother-in-law Tony Bonavire.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Laura Crichton (Dan) of La Canada, CA, Tim Gorecki (Rachel) of West Simsbury, CT, Pete Gorecki (Kristen) of Granby, CT, John Gorecki (Su Kyoung) and Sarah McAllister (Ryan) of Simsbury; his grandchildren, Joe, Lauren, Alex, Matt, Mark, Gavin, Kip, Cassie, Julian, Cole and Callie; his siblings, Katie (Lenny), Mike (Michelle), Sue (Alan), Richard (Michelle), Billy (Joni) and Terry; and his in-law Dr. Charles Kelley (Kathy) of Andover, MA..
