He was predeceased by: his parents, Sumner Babcock and Eleanor Weiss (Watson); his siblings, Bob and Linda Gelineau; and his niece Lindsey Degon.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan of Simsbury, Austin of Rhode Island, Kristin of New York City and Caroline of Simsbury; his former wife Renée Weiss of Simsbury; and his siblings, Pat Degon (Deak), Barbara Leveski (Nick), Jim (Faith) and Ken (Heather). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research.
