She was predeceased by : her parents, Fernand Descheneaux and Gervaise Descheneaux; her former life partner Richard Dauphinais; her daughter Cynthia "CJ" Descheneaux; and her siblings, Raymond and Frances Descheneaux.

She is survived by : her fiancé Kenneth Collier; her daughter Amanda Wright; her brothers, Leonard and Fernand Descheneaux; and her stepchildren, Mark, Mike, Gail, Bonnie and Tricia. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
