Russell of Somers, Connecticut, born in Peru, Indiana, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel M. Russell and Lena Russell (Feather). He is survived by : his wife Geraldine (Scavotto); his children, James Russell (Beth) and Jana Seiler (Alex); his grandchildren, Kathleen Russell Hernandez, James, Daniel Russell, Joseph Callahan and Madison Seiler; his brother Jerry (Wanda); his extended family, Michelle Scalia (Joseph) and Robert Chaplin (Elissa); his grandchildren, Suzanna Nichols, Brenna Nichols Flynn, Michaela Williams Mongeon and Alana Chaplin; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Mongeon and Kairo Bautista.

In lieu of flowers, donations in James' memory may be made to Hazardville United Methodist Church, 330 Hazard Ave., Enfield, CT 06082.
