He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hutton and Dorothy Hutton (Spellman); his wife Jean Hutton (Bastarache); his sister Joan; his brother-in-law Robert Swann; his granddaughter Andrea Rose Cooley; and his son-in-law Joseph C. Lastrina Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Judy Cooley (Wayne), Dennis Hutton (Sheryl), Cheryl Lastrina, Sue Dow (Glenn), Tom Hutton (Susan), Jim Hutton (Gretchen) and Nancy Barrett (Andy). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
