We bid farewell to Barbara K. Andriks of South Windsor, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 24, 2025 at the age of 67. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Barbara departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Barbara. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Kowalsky and Lottie Kowalsky of South Glastonbury; and her husband Mark. She is survived by: her siblings, Ronald (Andrea) of East Haddam, Robert and Susan (Anthony) of Andover; her nephew Anthony; and her niece Lauren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulryan Funeral Home (725 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury, CT 06033). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Augustine Church (55 Hopewell Rd, South Glastonbury, CT 06073).
Barbara was very passionate about volunteering at animal shelters and supporting their mission to rescue animals in need, so in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Last Chance Animal Rescue (https://givebutter.com.) or Protectors of Animals (https://poainc.org.).
