She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence J. Burns and Florence Burns (Durkee); and her sisters, Annarita McNally and Lorraine Roncaioli. She is survived by: her husband Richard F. Barnett; her children, Leisa Djiounas of Manchester, Shelleen Silvia (Michael) of Cranston, RI, Richard Barnett, Jr. (Kristen) of Amston and Jennifer Pavano (Michael) of Marlborough; her grandchildren, Ben Djiounas (Tiffani), Christopher Djiounas, Aaron Greenwood, Paige Greenwood, Jack Barnett, Emerson Melquist, Callan Melquist and Delaney Melquist; her great grandchildren, Isabel Djiounas, Morgan Djiounas, Georgia Djiounas and Miles Djiounas; and her brother Lawrence Burns, Jr. (Virginia).
