It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwina Joyce Vecchiolla of South Windsor, Connecticut, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Vecchiolla and Jennie Vecchiolla (Squatrito); and her sister Rose Marie Tursi (Vecchiolla). She is survived by: her nephews, Francis Tursi, Jr. of Kingston, Wayne Tursi, Sr. of Oldsmar, FL and Vincent Tursi (Sandra) of Ellington; her great-nephews, Wayne Tursi, Jr., Matthew Tursi, Vincent Tursi III and Dominic Tursi; and her great-niece Dr. Alexandra Tursi.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Junipero Serra Parish - St. Francis (673 Ellington Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund.
