She is survived by: her close friend William Fleming; her sons, Gary Schmidt (Susan) of Manchester, Connecticut, Jeffry Schmidt (Janet) of Vernon, Connecticut and Bruce Schmidt (Deborah) of Lebanon, Connecticut.; her grandchildren, Jocelyn Schmidt, Ryan Schmidt, Adam Schmidt (Aisha Errington) and Alec Schmidt (Hannah); and her caregiver Veronica Beckford.
