Though Gerard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeptha Lanning and Helen Lanning (Flood); his grandparents, Richard and Hannah Flood; his wife Judith; and his brothers, Jeptha Holland and Richard James Lanning.
He is survived by: his aunt Gladys; his daughter Anne Marie Reggio (Andre); and his grandchildren, Liam and Hannah Reggio. He is also survived by his extended family, many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John F Tierney Funeral Home (219 W Center St, Manchester, CT 06040). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick - St. Anthony Church (285 Church St, Hartford, CT 06103).
