She was predeceased by: her husband Charles W. Clarke; her parents, Bayard O., Sr. and Helen Pelton (Risley); her siblings, Helen Bancroft (Donald) and Bayard O. Pelton, Jr. (Marie); and her brothers-in-law, Richard Clarke, Richard Woolam and John Burgdorf (Jack).
She is survived by: her son Scott of North Granby; her grandsons, Stephen Gilbert (Kelsey) of West Granby and Albert Gilbert (Natalie Majewski) of Winsted; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Khloe and Garrett Gilbert of West Granby; and her sisters, Doris Burgdorf and Elsie Woolam. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the South Windsor Cemetery Behind First Congregational Church (993 Main St, South Windsor, CT 06074). A reception was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Home of Aimee and Andrew.
