Jerry J. Smutney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2025, at the age of 79, Jerry J. Smutney of South Windsor, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smutney and Eileen Smutney (Crane). He is survived by: his wife Donna Smutney (Curtis); his children, Chad C. Smutney (Cristin) of Watertown, CT and Lauren Suffish (Joel) of South Windsor; his grandchildren, Evan, Taryn, Mason and Elise; and his brother Tony Smutney (Susan) of Burgettstown, PA. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Junipero Serra Parish - St. Margaret (80 Hayes Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074).
