We are sad to announce that, on March 13, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Joan S. Johansen of South Windsor, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Joan departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joan. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sawka and Agnes Sawka (Bokus). She is survived by: her sons, Erik Johansen (Stacey) and Garth Johansen (Lynn Gagne); her grandchildren, Kelsi Johansen and Nickolas Johansen (Erin); her adored grandpups, Lily, Red and Ginger; and her brother Michael Sawka (Barbara). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
