He was predeceased by: his parents, Eileen A. Scott and Joseph L. Scott II. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Gillespie; his siblings, Kathleen Marquette and James; his sister-in-law Deborah Scott; his niece Stephanie Scott-Sheehan; and his nephew Jack Scott.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Immanuel Congregational Church music program, the Vernon Chorale, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
