She was predeceased by: her daughters, Patricia Ann Pugliese and Karen Elizabeth Pugliese; her brother George Krekel Jr. (Frances Krekel); and her nephew Robert Krekel. She is survived by: her grandson David Pugliese (Joann) of South Windsor; her great grandchildren, Emily, Abigail and Olivia; her granddaughter Susan Klosowski (Michael) of Vernon; her great grandchildren, Michael Jr., Matthew and Maria; her nephew Ronald Krekel (Krystyna); and her niece-in-law Merredith Krekel. She is also survived by her 14 great nieces and nephews.
She also contributed her time and spirit to the South Windsor Women's Club, the Human Relations Commission, and the American Cancer Society.
