She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kaczmarek and Susan Kaczmarek (Chupa); and her significant other Robert W. Hatala (Bob). She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Hatala of South Windsor, Cynthia Drupa of Norwich, CT and Christina Scully (James) of Natick, MA; her siblings, John Kaczmarek of Las Vegas, NV and Jacqueline Swann of Pittsburgh, PA; and her sister-in-law Mary Grace Romac of Glenshaw, PA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Junipero Serra Parish - St. Margaret (80 Hayes Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074).
