Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard Cyr of South Windsor, Connecticut, born in Caribou, Maine, who passed away at the age of 86, on February 16, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie Cyr and Leona Cyr (Legasse); and his sisters, Angela Bard, Rena Lavoie and Roberta St. Jean.

He is survived by : his wife Greta Cyr (Gendreau); his sons, Nathan Cyr (Suzanne) of Manchester and Gary Cyr (Catherine) of South Windsor; his grandchildren, Samantha Wright of Suffield, Gregory Cyr (Sarah) of West Hartford, Matthew Cyr and Emily Cyr of South Windsor; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Jackson and Annie; his sister Velma Zullo (John) of East Hartford; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Bourgoin (Robert) of Bangor, Joyce Plourde (Conrad) of St. Agatha and Gail Huber of North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
