He was predeceased by : his wife Irene Marie Brihan; his siblings, Joseph and Loretta Werner; his siblings-in-law, James, Carol and Jeanne Oliger; his granddaughter Amanda Mensinger; and his niece Connie.
He is survived by : his children, Karen Schooten (Paul) of Anchorage, AK, Robert Brihan (Ann) of Superior, WI, Jim Brihan (Jane) of Nashua, NH, Mary Beth Brihan of South Windsor, CT and Jack Brihan (Patty) of South Windsor, CT; his brother-in-law Ray Oliger of Fair Oaks, VA; his grandchildren, Robert, Emily Schrooten, Kathryn Harbin, Patrick Brihan, Megan Monroe, Eric Mensinger, Jennifer and Sarah Brihan; and his great grandchildren, Maddie, Paley Schrooten, Lucy, William Harbin, Ryan, Hallie Mensinger and James Monroe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
