She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacobo Melo and Luisa Melo (Escobar); her grandmother Neva Allendorf; and her sister Judith Henao. She is survived by: her spouse Hipocrates Restrepo; her daughters, Ana Allendorf (Walter) of Plymouth, CT and Sandra Barone (Anthony) of Enfield; her grandchildren, Remi Huyghebaert and Fallon Barone; and her siblings, Jairo Melo of Colombia and Consuelo Melo of Colombia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
