He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Galvin of South Windsor, Caroline Neffinger (Daniel) of Ellington and Allyson Carman (Samuel Sr.) of Ellington; his grandchildren, Lauren, Brian, Tyler, Connor, Adella, Samuel Jr., Rose, Nick and Ava; and his siblings, Thomas F. Galvin, Jr. (Batiste) of Southington, Noreen Allen (Peter) of Stafford Springs, Michael Galvin (Margaret) of Oakhill, VA, Teresa Foran (William) of Bolton, Rachel Rival (Steven) of East Hampton and Timothy Galvin (Ann Marie) of Vernon.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Midwest Food Bank, Little Sisters of the Poor, and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
