It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen A. Engman (South Windsor, Connecticut), born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Paul Engman; and his sister-in-law Victoria Engman. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Engman (Cefaratti); his daughters, Shari (Chadd Hiatt), Rebecca (Cory Paauwe), Sarah (Dominick Pizzanello) and Jennifer (Brian Bellody); his grandchildren, Colby, Anna (Erik), Bertali, Maya, Madelyn, Evelyn, Callie, Lucas, Gabriel, Andrew, Isabelle, Anthony and Giana; his siblings, Lennie Engman (Amy), Lauri Engman (Elaine), Wayne Engman (Renee), Debbie Engman-Daniels, Ellen Tramell and Linda Sydieko (Jim); his mother-in-law Joan Cefaratti; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Cefaratti (Charlene), Allen Cefaratti (Cindy), Lynne Johnston (John) and Lisa Cefaratti (Irene). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
