He is survived by: his wife Janet McEleney (O'Malley); his children, Kevin McEleney (Sumy) of Glastonbury, Alyson DeMelo (Brian) of Newburyport, Massachusetts and Sean McEleney (Lauren) of St. Petersburg, Florida; his grandchildren, Joseph McEleney, William McEleney, Austin DeMelo and Lily DeMelo; and his brother James McEleney of Boston, Massachusetts.. He is also survived by grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Stephen's memory to Camp Jewell YMCA.
