He was predeceased by : his parents, Gloria Saharek (Pease) and Donald Saharek. He is survived by : his wife Kerry Saharek (Hill); his children, Christopher Saharek (Liz) of Yachats, OR, Shannah Balogh (Greg) of Essex, CT and Caitlin Saharek of Providence, RI; his grandchildren, Liam Balogh, Isabella and Olivia Saharek; and his sister Debra Foss (Mike) of New Milford. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
