It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa (Richer) Messenger of South Windsor, Connecticut, born in Ogdensburg, New York, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Robert Messenger; and her parents, Joseph Richer and Vina Richer (Dashnaw). She is survived by : her children, Steven Messenger (Deborah), Brenda Reed (Jim), Barbara Fowler (George) and Cheryl R. Dean (Andrew); her grandchildren, Eric, Brian Messenger, Jessica Green (William), Jennifer Elenowitz (Harrison) and David Dean; and her great grandchildren, Atlas and Daisy Elenowitz.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
