Truman Cowles Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Truman Cowles (South Windsor, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Cowles and Georgette Cowles (Gates); his wife Mary Elizabeth Bowman; his sister Barbara Bartosik (George); his siblings-in-law, Margaret Berube (Ronald Robert) and Joseph Bowman; and his grandson Robert M. Brisco.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Jo C. Regan (J. Mark Regan) of Windsor, T. David Cowles, Jr. (Lana) of Bluffton, SC and Elizabeth A. Brisco (Douglas E. Brisco) of Dataw Island, SC; his grandchildren, Jennifer Querim (Damon) of Simsbury, Kevin M. Regan (Courtney) of Boca Raton, FL, Michael J. Regan (Samantha) of Middletown, Brian D. Regan (Keyla) of Phoenix, AZ, Ashley Cowles (Michael Razo) of Hanscom, A. F. B, Truman D. Cowles, III (Daniel Olson) of San Jose, CA, William J. Brisco of Bluffton, SC and Thomas B. Brisco (Katherine Callis) of Manchester; and his great grandchildren, Alexa Querim, Reese Querim, Brennan Regan, Braden Regan, Anderson Razo, Addison Razo and Malakai Regan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center Foundation, Attn: Robby Brisco Open, 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106, to aid in pediatric cancer clinical trials.
