He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Anne MacBrien (Carney); his daughter Marian Therese; his parents, James MacBrien and Helen MacBrien (Rebner); and his sister Helen Louise Hultgren (Robert).
He is survived by: his children, Nathan MacBrien and Carrie (MacBrien) Munayyer (Waffa); and his grandsons, Adrien Mac Munayyer and Nour Brien Munayyer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (910 Main St S, Southbury, CT 06488). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
