It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Dixon (Southbury, Connecticut), who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Toth and Julie Toth (Makar) of Bethel; her siblings-in-law, Carl and Evelyn Dixon; and her grandson Luca.
She is survived by: her close friends, Rebecca DePalma (Eric), Jennifer Mezick (Matthew) and Michael Dixon (Jessica); her cousins, Beverly Makar and Ronnie Makar (Mollie); her brother-in-law Robert Farrell; her niece Kate Farrell; her cousins, Toni-Ann Cassidy (Gene) and Bobby Huenerberg (Chalor); her nephews, Marc and Robbie; her cousin Barbara Jean Murphy (Phil); her mother-in-law Rebecca Dixon of North Carolina; her close friend Sandra Lucas; and her grandchildren, Melanie, Isla, Remi, Noah, Evangeline and Dante.
