Diane Capossela Obituary

We announce the death of Diane Capossela (Southbury, Connecticut), who passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 76. Diane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard Zior and Lorraine Thompson; her husband Anthony Capossela; her children, Jennifer Rotunda, Amy Fairbairn and Tony Capossela III; her granddaughters, Emma, Julia, Miranda and Lily; and her sister Susan Melnyk.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Diane's memory to Whiskers Pet Rescue in Southbury, Connecticut.
