The memory of Edward Gilbode of Southbury, Connecticut, who passed away on December 20, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gilbode and Mary Gilbode (Lakevitch); and his brothers, Thomas and Michael Gilbode. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Gilbode (Chomack); his daughters, Jodie Roden (Joseph) of Southbury, CT and Allyson Winzer (Joseph) of Orange, CT; his grandsons, Matthew Gilbode, Caleb Roden, James Roden, Jack Winzer and Cooper Winzer; his sister Barbara Bouchard of Burlington, CT; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Gilbode, Claudia DellAnno (John), Cheryl Albert (Ron) and John Chomack (Barbara); and his close friends, Christine and Don Farina. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
