He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vangor and Theresa Vangor (Chaplinsky); his wife Joyce Vangor (Bero); and his siblings, Lynn Susan Carrano (Vangor) and John.
He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Fernous (Mark Frankel); his granddaughters, Adelaide, Victoria and Penelope Fernous; his mother-in-law Julia Bernaski; his siblings-in-law, Billy Bero and Patty Yuskis; his close friend Jose; and his pet Ben. He is also survived by many other friends, relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Spear Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
