It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Robert Yurch of Southbury, Connecticut, who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Yurch and Virginia Yurch (Mc Cullough); and his siblings, Virginia Mary Yurch (Ginny) and George Yurch. He is survived by: his wife Hollis Leah Yurch (Wootten); his siblings, Su-Ellen Brown (Walter) of Stratford, Robert Yurch (Anne) and Kathryn Silver (Jerry) of Painter, VA.; his children, Amy Mansfield (Jeff) of Burlington, Griffen, Ciarah, John R. Yurch Jr. of Waterbury, Michael J. Yurch of Cheshire, Robert Charney (Mary), Patrick, Kristin, Scott Charney (Michele), Ryan, Brandon and Colin; his great grandchild Charlotte Layne; and his sister Kate.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Steven's Roman Catholic Church (6948 Main St, Trumbull, CT 06611).
