We announce the death of Judith F. Strohm (Southbury, Connecticut), born in Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 96. Judith will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Judith will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Judith will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Judith’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, F. Stuart Friend and Natalie S. Friend; and her siblings, Susan, Gretchen, Frank and William.
She is survived by: her children, Mark P. Strohm (Deborah) of Saginaw, MN, Margo Mann (Dwight) of Dover Plains, NY and Emily S. Bonn (Keith) of Bolton, CT.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the United Church of Christ (283 Main St N, Southbury, CT 06488).
