He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Edith M. Margolis (Hubelbank); his parents, Jacob Margolis and Lena Margolis (Smith); his children, Marilyn Maughan (Thomas) of Southbury and Michael Margolis (Nancy) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Dr. Elizabeth Margolis, Samantha Barry (Brett), Amanda Bloom (Ryan), Jillian Taussi (Moshe), Jacob Margolis and Sydney Maughan (Patrick Berry); his great grandchildren, Bowen Barry, Eleanor Bloom, Fletcher Barry and Callahan Barry; and his sister Irma Sue Schlosshan. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hebrew Benefit Association Cemetery (244 Stillson Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
