It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maura Vaughan of Southbury, Connecticut, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Maura's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Maura has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home (235 Main St N, Southbury, CT 06488). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (910 Main St S, Southbury, CT 06488). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Resurrection Cemetery (208 S Main St, Newtown, CT 06470).
